Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – A 65-year-old man who is listed as the top ten most wanted person in MIMAROPA was arrested in a law enforcement operation conducted in Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro on January 2, 2024.

Police report revealed that at about 4:47 PM, personnel of Pinamalayan Municipal Police Station together with Regional Intelligence Division 4B; PIT Oriental Mindoro RIU 4B; 4th Platoon, 2nd PMFC Oriental Mindoro PPO; Provincial Highway Patrol Team Oriental Mindoro; and 404th B Maneuver Company RMFB conducted manhunt operation that led to the apprehension of alias “Elmar”, 65, in Barangay Zone 3, Pinamalayan, of the said locality.

The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 42 in Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro for the non-bailable offense of Rape in relation to R.A.7610.

Arrested person is now under police custody and will be turned over to issuing court for proper disposition.
