Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – Regional Director of Police Regional Office MIMAROPA, PBGEN ROGER L QUESADA, spearheaded the launching of “BBM (Biyayang Bigay ni Marcos) Para sa mga Kapatid na Mangyan, Handog ng Organisadong Sangay ng Gobyerno sa MIMAROPA para sa Bagong Pilipinas,” a joint community outreach program held in Brgy. Malayong, Gloria, Oriental Mindoro, on Thursday, February 8, 2024.

In his message, PBGEN QUESADA expressed his heartfelt appreciation and gratitude for the warm welcome and for everyone whose unwavering dedication and tireless efforts contributed to the success of this event.

“Kami po ay lubos na nagpapasalamat sa inyong mainit na pagtanggap ngayong araw na ito. Mula sa hanay ng kapulisan ng Pangrehiyong Pulisya ng MIMAROPA, kami ay hindi mapapagod na magbigay serbisyo at magbahagi ng mga biyaya para sa inyo at sa mga kapatid nating nangangailangan,” PBGEN QUESADA said.

“Naniniwala po ako na ang patuloy na pagkakaisa at pagtutulungan ng mga sektor ng lipunan ay magbibigay ng mas mabilis at progresibong paglilingkod sa taong bayan, lalo’t higit sa mga lugar na minsan lamang mapuntahan,” he added.

A total of 300 indigent residents of the Tadyawan and Tau-buid Tribe received free medical and dental services provided by the RMDU MIMAROPA.

The activity also highlighted the lectures on Proper Hygiene, Rights of a Child, R.A. 9262, and A.B.K.D.; application of National I.D.; feeding program; ‘libreng gupit’; and the distribution of relief goods, medicine, dental kits, and food packs to the residents.

“Hinihikayat ko po ang lahat ng naririto na patuloy po tayong magtulungan at magkaisa, upang mabigyang pansin ang pangangailangan ng ating mga kapatid na katutubo. Gayundin, patuloy po tayong magserbisyo ng tapat at may pagmamahal para sa ikauunlad ng bayan at ng bagong pilipinas,” PBGEN QUESADA further urged.

The said initiative is a joint community service led by the Police Regional Office MIMAROPA thru the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division, in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Gloria, PSA Oriental Mindoro, Kawayanan Eagles Club, Tau Gamma Phi and Alpha Kappa Rho Gloria Chapter, Officers Ladies Club MIMAROPA Chapter led by Mrs. Marlita E. Quesada, 2nd PMFC ORMIN PPO, 101st SAC PNP-SAF, Regional Medical and Dental Unit MIMAROPA, and Gloria Municipal Police Station.
