Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – A 40-year-old man was arrested in an anti-illegal gambling operation in Gasan, Marinduque on January 1, 2024.

Report revealed that joint elements of Gasan Municipal Police Station, Marinduque PPO Provincial Intelligence Unit and 1st Provincial Mobile Force Platoon apprehended alias “Babarlon”, 40, for his alleged involvement in illegal cockfighting activity in Barangay Pinggan, Gasan, Marinduque at around 5:20 PM.

The authorities confiscated five (5) fighting cocks (2 live, 3 dead), two (2) sets of gaffs, bet money amounting to Php1,290 and other paraphernalia from the suspect’s possession.

Arrested suspect is now under police custody pending the filing of charges for violation of Presidential Decree No. 1602.
