Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – Palawan Police Provincial Office arrested three (3) individuals wanted for illegal fishing in Balabac, Palawan on June 14, 2023.

The arrested persons identified as Julsahid Rintuan Damog, 41; Julasdi Angsa Hamid, 32; and Nelson Omar Torong, 37, were apprehended by the personnel of Balabac Municipal Police Station together with the members of Palawan PPO Provincial Intelligence Unit and 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company in Brgy Poblacion IV, Balabac, Palawan at around 3:00 PM.

The arrests were made by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by the Municipal Circuit Trial Court in Brooke’s Point, Palawan for the violation of Palawan Provincial Ordinance No. 819 as amended by Palawan Provincial Ordinance No. 1643 series of 2015, with bail recommended amounting to Php2,000 each.

Arrested persons are now under police custody and will be turned over to issuing court for proper disposition.
