Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – A 29-year-old man wanted for child abuse was arrested in a law enforcement operation in Aborlan, Palawan on July 9, 2023.

Report revealed that Jomel Rodriguez Gilwa, 29, was apprehended by the personnel of Aborlan Municipal Police Station in Brgy. Ramon Magsaysay, Aborlan, Palawan at around 5:30 PM.

The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 47 in Puerto Princesa city, Palawan for Violation of Section 5 (B) of RA 7610 (service of sentence), with no bail recommended.

Arrested person is now under police custody and will be turned over to issuing court for proper disposition.
