Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – A 31-year-old man who is listed as illegal drugs priority high value individual was arrested in anti-illegal drug buybust operation in Brgy. San Vicente North, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro on May 29, 2023 at around 4:05 PM.

Police report revealed that Kevin Apigo Tanchico, 31, was arrested after allegedly selling one (1) piece transparent plastic sachet of suspected ‘shabu’ in exchange for Php1,000 to a police poseur-buyer in a joint anti-illegal drug buybust operation launched by the elements of Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit, Oriental Mindoro PPO Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, and Calapan City Police Station.

Confiscated from the suspect’s possession were one (1) more piece of transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of 1.40 grams worth more or less Php9,520.00, the Php1000 buybust money, and other paraphernalia.

Apprehended person is now under police custody pending the filing of charges in violation of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
