Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – PRO MIMAROPA, under the leadership of PBGEN SIDNEY SULTAN HERNIA, nabbed a priority high-value individual in a drug buy-bust operation in Boac, Marinduque on Thursday, March 31, 2022.

In his report, Police Colonel CHRISTOPHER D MELCHOR, Provincial Director of Marinduque Police Provincial Office, said that Christoper Murillo Lingon, 34, who hails from Sitio Maygayo Brgy. Daig, of the said town, was arrested after allegedly selling one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing “shabu,” in exchange for a one-thousand-peso bill to a police poseur-buyer in a joint police operation led by Marinduque PPO Drug Enforcement Unit and Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), together with Boac MPS Municipal Drug Enforcement Unit, and RIU 4B Provincial Intelligence Unit of Marinduque.

Also seized from the Lingon’s possession were two pieces of small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing “shabu” weighing more or less 0.18 grams, Php1000.00 buy-bust money, cash, wallet, and other paraphernalia.

Lingon is now under the custody of Boac MPS while a complaint of a violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165) is being prepared for the inquest proceedings against him.

Data from the PNP Drug-Related Data Integration and Generation System of the Regional Operations Division revealed that since January of 2022, Police Regional Office MIMAROPA has accomplished 83 anti-illegal drugs operations that led to the arrest of 87 drug suspects, yielding a total of 215.983 grams of “shabu,” valued at Php 1,251,153.
