Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro — Police Regional Office (PRO) MIMAROPA, under the stewardship of PBGEN JOEL B DORIA, through the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (RCADD), partnered with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), distribute food items to the families affected by the oil spill in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro on Monday, June 19, 2023 at around 9:00 AM.
The activity, which was held at the Mena Valencia Gymnasium in Brgy. Poblacion 1, of the said locality, was facilitated by personnel of the RCADD led by PLTCOL SONIA B GAVIANA, Asst. Chief, RCADD, and Mr. Eric Balcos, Asst. President, CRSD, representing Mr. Tengco, Chairman, CEO, PAGCOR.
The objective of the activity was to provide assistance to the affected families and alleviate their situation in the aftermath of the oil spill.
In a statement, PBGEN DORIA emphasized that PRO MIMAROPA is committed to working hand in hand with partner agencies and stakeholders to provide the necessary assistance and support to those in need.
“We are here to serve and protect the community, and we will continue to do so by working together with our partners and stakeholders. This initiative is in line with the 5-focused agenda of the 29th Chief, PNP, PGEN BENJAMIN C ACORDA, JR, particularly on community engagement,” he said.
Likewise, PBGEN DORIA, expressed his gratitude to PAGCOR for its support in providing assistance to the affected families.
“We are grateful to PAGCOR for partnering with us in this endeavor. This distribution of food items is a manifestation of our commitment to serve and protect the community, especially during difficult times,” he said.
