Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – Police Regional Office MIMAROPA Regional Director, PBGEN JOEL B DORIA, has considered the Labor Day observance in MIMAROPA this year as generally peaceful.

The data from the Regional Operations Division (ROD) of Police Regional Office MIMAROPA revealed that no untoward incidents were reported on Monday, May 1, 2023.

“We laud the workers regionwide for commemorating the Labor Day in an orderly and peaceful manner,” PBGEN DORIA said.

“All needed security preparations and troop deployment schemes were employed. More so, we acknowledge the support and cooperation of the public that significantly contributed to the generally peaceful outcome of this annual national event,” he added.

The MIMAROPA top cop said atleast 600 PNP personnel were strategically deployed regionwide to secure the Labor Day celebration.

“We recognize the sacrifices and contributions of the labor sector. Rest assured that the PNP will always work to provide the public, including our workers, a safe and secured environment to work, live, and do business with most especially here in MIMAROPA region.” PBGEN DORIA added.
