Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – A 70-year-old man who is listed as the top 2 (provincial level) most wanted person of Romblon was arrested in a law enforcement operation in Sitio Bakong, Barangay Lio, Romblon, Romblon on June 19, 2023.

Police report revealed that Dante Silverio Mariño, 70, was apprehended by the personnel of Romblon MPS with assistance from the elements of CIDG Romblon Provincial Field Unit; Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and 4th Platoon Romblon PMFC at around 1:47 PM.

The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Branch 19 (Family Court) in Romblon, Romblon for Crime of Acts of Lasciviousness in relation to R.A. 7610 as amended by R.A. 11648 with recommended bail amounting to Php108,000.

Arrested person is now under police custody and will be turned over to issuing court for proper disposition.
