Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – Three (3) individuals were arrested during an anti-illegal gambling operation in Bancao-Bancao, Puerto Princesa City on Sunday, October 6, 2024.

The report revealed that at around 12:30 PM, personnel from PPC Police Station 1 arrested alias “Ruben” (27), alias “Rolando” (27), and alias “Severino” (48), for their alleged involvement in illegal gambling activity (illegal cockfighting ‘tupada’) in Jacana Housing Purok Masikap, Brgy. Bancao-Bancao, Puerto Princesa City.

The authorities confiscated two (2) live fighting cocks, PhP2,000.00 bet money, and other related paraphernalia.

Arrested suspects are now under police custody pending the filing of charges for violation of Presidential Decree No. 1602.
