Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – Three (3) individuals were arrested during an anti-illegal gambling operation in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro on Sunday, July 14, 2024.

The report revealed that personnel of Naujan Municipal Police Station, apprehended alias “Mariafe” (39), alias “Marites” (47), and alias “Felicisima” (49), for their alleged involvement in illegal gambling activity (card game ‘tong-its’) in Sitio Upper Bayog, Brgy. Evangelista, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro at around 12:15 PM.

The authorities confiscated one (1) set of playing cards, bet money amounting to PhP558.00, and other paraphernalia from the suspects’ possession.

Arrested suspects are now under police custody pending the filing of charges for violation of Presidential Decree No. 1602.
