Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – Three (3) individuals were arrested during an anti-illegal gambling operation in Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro on Thursday, August 15, 2024.

The report revealed that personnel of Pinamalayan Municipal Police Station, apprehended alias “Ronnie” (50), alias “Jocelyn” (56), and alias “Jocelyn” (63), for their alleged involvement in illegal gambling activity (card game ‘tong-its’) in Brgy. Sta. Rita, Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro at around 3:00 PM.

The authorities confiscated one (1) set of playing cards, bet money amounting to PhP225.00, and other paraphernalia from the suspects’ possession.

Arrested suspects are now under police custody pending the filing of charges for violation of Presidential Decree No. 1602.
