Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – Three (3) individuals were arrested during an anti-illegal gambling operation in Torrijos, Marinduque on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.

The report revealed that personnel of Torrijos Municipal Police Station, apprehended alias “Nolan” (33), alias “Prince” (31), and alias “Alejandro” (42), for their alleged involvement in illegal gambling activity (card game) in Purok 3, Brgy. Poblacion, Torrijos, Marinduque at around 9:40 PM.

The authorities confiscated one (1) set of playing cards, bet money amounting to PhP604.00, and other paraphernalia from the suspects’ possession.

Arrested suspects are now under police custody pending the filing of charges for violation of Presidential Decree No. 1602.
