Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – Police Regional Office MIMAROPA, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGER L QUESADA, arrested two (2) drug personalities in separate anti-illegal drug operations conducted in Palawan and Oriental Mindoro on May 22 and 23, 2024.

Police reports revealed that alias “Roseller”, 45, listed as an illegal drug High-Value Individual (HVI), was arrested in Sitio Nasigdan, Brgy. Libertad, El Nido, Palawan after allegedly selling a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu worth PhP1,000.00 to a police poseur buyer during a buy-bust operation by the elements of Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit together with El Nido Municipal Police Station and Provincial Government of Palawan.

Authorities confiscated approximately 1 gram of suspected shabu worth PhP9,000.00, PhP1,000.00 buy-bust money, and related paraphernalia.

Furthermore, alias “Ryan”, 42, listed as an illegal-drug Street Level Individual (SLI), was apprehended in Sitio Umay, Brgy. Maningcol, Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro after allegedly selling a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu worth PhP500.00 to an undercover police officer during a joint buy-bust operation launched by the personnel of Pinamalayan Municipal Police Station and PIT Oriental Mindoro RIU 4B.

Authorities seized approximately 0.0492 grams of suspected shabu worth PhP5,000.00 along with the PhP500.00 buy-bust money, and related paraphernalia.

The arrested drug suspects are now in police custody, and complaints of violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165) are being prepared for the inquest proceedings against them.
