Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – Police Regional Office MIMAROPA, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGER L QUESADA, nabbed two (2) drug personalities in a separate anti-illegal drug operations conducted in Puerto Princesa City and Oriental Mindoro on Saturday, February 10, 2024.

Police reports revealed that alias “Ruperto”, 38, listed as an illegal-drugs Priority High Value Individual (PHVI), was arrested in Manalo Street, Brgy. Masikap, Puerto Princesa City, Palwan, after being caught in actual possession of suspected ‘shabu’ during a joint buy-bust operation by the elements of PDEA Palawan PO together with PDEA Palawan SIU, AIU, Puerto Princesa City Police Station 1, and Anti-Crime Task Force Puerto Princesa City.

Authorities confiscated approximately 50 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of PhP425,000.00, and related paraphernalia.

Furthermore, at approximately 6:33 AM, alias “Ryan”, of legal age, was apprehended in Brgy. Suqui, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro after allegedly selling a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu worth PhP500 to an undercover police officer during a buy-bust operation launched by joint personnel of Calapan City Police Station, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, Regional Drug Enforcement Unit, TSC and 404th B MC RMFB.

Confiscated from the suspect’s possession were approximately 0.69 grams of suspected shabu with street value amounting to PhP4,692.00, the buy-bust money and related paraphernalia.

The arrested drug suspects are now in police custody, and complaints of violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165) are being prepared for the inquest proceedings against them.
