Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro — Police Regional Office MIMAROPA Regional Director, PBGEN ROGER LAROZA QUESADA, has lauded the government’s successful anti-insurgency efforts that resulted in the withdrawal of support of two (2) former members of Communist Party of the Philippines – New People’s Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF) who were both listed in the Periodic Status Report (PSR) in Oriental and Occidental Mindoro on September 3, 2024.

According to police reports, “Ka Roland”, 48, a former member of KLG MAV, SRMA-4D, Lucio De Guzman Command (ISLACOM MINDORO) that operates in the areas of Bongabong, Roxas, Mansalay, Bulalacao all of Oriental Mindoro and some parts of Occidental Mindoro has voluntarily surrendered to the personnel of Oriental Mindoro PPO 2nd PMFC in Brgy. Santa Teresita, Mansalay, Oriental Mindoro.

The successful surrender of “Ka Roland” was made possible through assistance from the elements of 403rd B MC RMFB, Mansalay MPS, Oriental Mindoro PPO PIU, RID 4B, PIT RIU 4B, CIDG-PFU, Alpha CMO Coy, 2CMOBn, 2ID, PA; 4th IB, 2ID, PA; 23rd MICO, PA, 203rd BDE, PA, 10th SAB,103SAC PNP-SAF, NICA, and RID NCR.

Similarly, at approximately 1:00 PM, “Ka Jenny”, 43, who is listed in the Periodic Status Report (PSR) and a former member of KARAPATAN-Southern Tagalog and Sandatahang Yunit Propaganda, KLG-MAV, SRMA-4D, STRPC, voluntarily surrendered to the personnel of PIT Romblon RIU 4B with assistance from the elements of PIT Occidental Mindoro RIU 4B; 403rd B MC RMFB; 3rd Platoon, 2nd PMFC Oriental Mindoro PPO; 203rd BDE, 2ID PA; ESOL, 302nd AISS, 301st SMG, 300 AISW PAF; and CGIG-STL; NISG-SL in Brgy. Poblacion, Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro.

Said surrenderers are now under police custody for debriefing and assistance prior to enrollment in the Enhanced Comprehensive and Local Integration Program (E-CLIP).
