Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – Two (2) individuals were arrested during an anti-illegal gambling operation in Gasan, Marinduque on Friday, July 12, 2024.

The report revealed that joint personnel of Gasan Municipal Police Station, Marinduque PPO PIU, and PMFP, apprehended alias “Ronnel” (47), and alias “Justine” (27), for their alleged involvement in illegal gambling activity (illegal cockfighting ‘tupada’) in Brgy. Dawis, Gasan, Marinduque at around 6:30 PM.

The authorities confiscated four (4) fighting cocks, 2 sets of gaffs, bet money amounting to PhP1,100.00, and other paraphernalia from the suspects’ possession.

Arrested suspects are now under police custody pending the filing of charges for violation of Presidential Decree No. 1602.
