Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – The Police Regional Office MIMAROPA, under the leadership of PBGEN ROGER L QUESADA, arrested two wanted individuals in separate law enforcement operations in Oriental Mindoro on December 28, 2023.

According to reports, alias “Alex”, 60, was arrested at around 10:20 AM by joint personnel from San Teodoro Municipal Police Station; 4th Platoon, 1st PMFC Oriental Mindoro PPO; and 404th B Maneuver Company RMFB in Sitio Ibuye, Brgy. Calsapa, San Teodoro, Oriental Mindoro. The arrest was made based on a warrant issued by First Municipal Circuit Trial Court in San Teodoro, Oriental Mindoro, for the crime of Grave Coercion in relation to R.A. 7610, with bail set at Php36,000.00.

Similarly, at approximately 12:40 PM, alias “Edcelso”, 42, was apprehended by personnel from Calapan City Police Station together with Oriental Mindoro Maritime Police Station and Provincial Highway Patrol Team. The arrest took place in Sitio Silangan, Brgy. Lazareto, Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro, based on a warrant for the crime of Frustrated Murder. The recommended bail amount is Php200,000.00.

The arrested individuals are currently under police custody and will be turned over to the issuing courts for proper disposition.
