Camp BGen Efigenio C Navarro, Calapan City – A 69-year-old woman wanted in Quezon City was arrested in a law enforcement operation in Sta. Lourdes, Puerto Princesa City on July 11, 2023.

The arrested person identified as Estela Buncag Y Castillo, 69, a resident of No. 286, Malvar St., Brgy. San Miguel, Puerto Princesa City was collared by joint personnel of Puerto Princesa CPO Police Station 2 and PRBU-Palawan in Brgy. Sta. Lourdes, of the
said locality at around 3:00 PM.

The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest issued on May 31, 2023 by the Metropolitan Trial Court, Branch 35, National Capital Region in Quezon City for the crime of falsification of public documents under Art. 172 of the Revised Penal Code with recommended bail amounting to Php36,000.

Arrested person is now under police custody and will be turned over to issuing court for proper disposition.
